PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply configure a valve opening/closing timing control device which makes an advance/retreat member of an advance/retreat mechanism released from a fitting recess and which makes the advance/retreat member fitted into the fitting recess.SOLUTION: A lock pin 31 and a fitting recess 32 are provided as an advance/retreat mechanism L for regulating a relative rotation phase of an external rotor and an internal rotor 20. First and second pressure receiving surfaces T1 and T2, which make the lock pin 31 work oil pressure in a retreat direction, are formed on the lock pin 31, and an urging pressure receiving surface Q, which makes the oil pressure act in an extending direction, is formed on the lock pin 31. In unlocking, the oil pressure of hydraulic oil of an independent release oil passage 36 branching off from an advance oil passage 25 independently acts on the first and second pressure receiving surfaces T1 and T2. When the lock pin 31 is switched to a locking state, the oil pressure of hydraulic oil of a locking hydraulic oil passage 37 branching off from a retardation oil passage 26 independently acts on the urging pressure receiving surface Q. |
