The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food composition, and a feed composition for preventing, treating, and alleviating brain tumor, comprising amlodipine as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the amlodipine represents excellent or equal effects in inhibiting the proliferation with respect to cancer cells of glioblastoma, at concentrations lower than temozolomide which is the conventional agent for treating brain tumor. The amlodipine is effectively applied with respect to the cancer cells of glioblastoma having the resistance to the temozolomide, thereby being useful as an active ingredient of a novel agent of treating brain tumor. |
