A sampling plate (1) for use in measuring a property of a fluid sample comprising a sample zone comprising at least two discrete testing zones (5, 6) for receiving different respective volumes of the fluid sample. Each testing zone presents a zone volume defined by a respective zone area and a different respective zone height being a dimension transverse to the zone area (A).
