The present invention relates to a thawer, and more specifically, to a thawer using low frequency microwaves to evenly thaws frozen food for a relatively short time, thereby allowing a user to cook the food immediately after thawing the same. The thawer comprises: a frame (10) having an outer portion covered by a cover (11) and having a frame body (10); a thawing chamber (20) having an entry closed by a door (1) installed inside the frame (10) and formed in a housing shape with a microwave inlet passage (21) perforated on one side thereof; a waveguide (30) having a microwave generator (35) installed thereon, wherein the microwave generator (35) is fixated to match the inlet passage (21) and an outlet passage (31) in the thawing chamber (20) and provided for the generation and the irradiation of microwaves to the inside the thawing chamber (20) through a control circuit; and a perturbation apparatus (40) installed inside the thawing chamber (20) to scatter microwaves and rotated by the operation of a motor (44), wherein the perturbation apparatus (40) is installed in an area where microwaves are inputted. The thawing chamber (20) maintains the ratio (S1) of the volume (V1) divided by the micro-wavelength () in the range of 52,000 to 52,100. The waveguide (30) maintains the ratio (S2) of the volume (V2) divided by the micro-wavelength in the range of 1,400 to 1,500. The perturbation apparatus (40) comprises wings (42) formed on both ends of horizontal plates (41) and inclined at a predetermined degree, wherein the horizontal plates (41) are horizontally divided into four directions from the center. |
