PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide-type fuel cell capable of suppressing the explosive boiling of water by alleviating rapid heating to water in a reformer, thereby making stable power generation possible.SOLUTION: A solid oxide-type fuel cell 1 has a reformer 20 for reforming a fuel by steam using water supplied from a water supply device 28, the reformer comprising: an evaporation unit 20a provided on an inlet side thereof and used for evaporating water flowing into the reformer; a reforming unit 20c provided on a downstream side from the evaporation unit and filled with a reforming catalyst; and a heat exchange suppression wall part 20j forming a wall surface between the reforming unit and the evaporation unit and slowing down heat exchange with water in order to prevent water sent from the evaporation unit to the reforming unit side from explosively boiling upon contact with the wall surface. The heat exchange suppression wall part is provided with a wall part body 20l partitioning the inside of the reformer into an area on the evaporation unit side and an area on the reforming unit side, and a protruding part 20m protruding toward the evaporation unit side so that its heat transfer area and heat capacity are smaller than those of the wall part body. |
