This phase-controlled DC-DC converter is equipped with a primary-side switching circuit connected to a primary winding, a secondary-side switching circuit connected to a secondary winding, and a transformer that magnetically couples the first winding and the second winding. The phase-controlled DC-DC converter controls a voltage exchanged between the primary side and secondary side of the transformer by controlling the operation of the primary-side switching circuit and the secondary-side switching circuit so as to control the phase difference between a primary-side voltage and a secondary-side voltage of the transformer. When exchanging power between the primary side and second side of the transformer in the phase-controlled DC-DC converter, if current flowing through the transformer exceeds a target current, a zero voltage period, wherein the primary-side voltage and the secondary-side voltage of the transformer are zero, is provided by controlling the operation of the primary-side switching circuit and the secondary-side switching circuit. |
