PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly respond to a query concerning the setting from a control device, based on the setting in which a set value is temporarily changed in recording.SOLUTION: When a control command is received from a host computer 10, a recording control unit 37 of a printer 11 changes a set value related to the recordable area stored in a temporary storage area according to the content of the control command, uses the changed set value to record in the recordable area, and returns the changed set value when queried by the host computer 10 about the setting for which the value has been changed. |
