PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method and cooling equipment capable of obtaining a high cooling rate of a steel material immersed in a water tank without using a cooling device of a high speed jet.SOLUTION: A method for cooling a steel is provided for immersing a high temperature steel with a film containing a metal oxide or an inorganic oxide on a surface in a cooling water tank, and for performing immersion quenching thereof. |
