PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device configured to prevent developer from being accumulated on a sensor sensing surface without using a soft material for cleaning the sensing surface of a magnetic permeability sensor, and to prevent a change in density of developer to be sensed, while preventing a reduction in reliability of an output of a magnetic permeability sensor, and to provide an image forming device using the same.SOLUTION: A developing device 2 includes a developer tank 111 for housing developer, a first conveyance path P, a second conveyance path Q, a first conveyance member 112, a second conveyance member 113, a developing roller 114 for supplying toner to a photoreceptor drum 3, and a magnetic permeability sensor 119 for detecting toner density of the developer in the developer tank 111. The vicinity of the sensing surface 119a of the magnetic permeability sensor 119 is protruded. The outer diameter of a second conveyance blade 113a of the second conveyance member 113 facing the protruded part is made smaller. An inclination part 111a is formed, which inclines toward the vicinity of the protruded sensing surface 119a. |
