PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that is capable of two-phase driving a three-phase brushless motor with a new control system.SOLUTION: A basic two-phase conduction pattern P2vofor forward rotation is created from a three-phase conduction pattern P3for forward rotation. A basic two-phase conduction pattern P2vofor reverse rotation is created from a three-phase conduction pattern P3for reverse rotation. A two-phase conduction pattern P2vfor forward rotation is created by shifting a phase of the basic two-phase conduction pattern P2vofor forward rotation in an arbitrary direction (first direction) by a first prescribed angle. A two-phase conduction pattern P2vfor reverse rotation is created by shifting a phase of the basic two-phase conduction pattern P2vofor reverse rotation in the same direction as the first direction by a second prescribed angle. The first prescribed angle and the second prescribed angle are set at 30 degrees in terms of electric angle, for instance. |
