PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operator of a dump truck with an image that can be understood easily, when supporting an operation with a bird's-eye-view image obtained by synthesizing images captured by a plurality of image pick-up devices.SOLUTION: A periphery monitoring system for dump truck comprises: a plurality of image pick-up devices for capturing the peripheral image of a dump truck, and outputting image information; a bird's-eye-view image synthesis unit for synthesizing a plurality of pieces of the acquired image information and generating bird's-eye-view image information for displaying on a display device a bird's-eye-view image of the dump truck and its periphery; and a display control unit for switching and displaying, on the display device, either a first image where a first vessel image, including a vessel from which a portion of the dump truck on the rear side of the dump truck is removed, is superimposed on the region of the dump truck in the bird's-eye-view image and the lower region of the rear portion of the vessel is included, or a second image where a second vessel image including all vessels is superimposed on the region of the dump truck in the bird's-eye-view image. |
