PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new user interface that allows recognition of softness of an object by using a pseudo-haptic phenomenon.SOLUTION: A pressure sensor detects pressure when a user holds a portable terminal. The portable terminal determines a morphological attribute of a pseudo-haptic image for causing the user to recognize softness according to softness information representing the degree of softness and a pressure value indicated by the pressure sensor to perform display control of the pseudo-haptic image.
