PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and system for transmitting digital broadcast data without waiting for the next retransmission cycle when the digital broadcast data are changed during a current event.SOLUTION: A data transmission device 10 includes: a file data encoding part 13 for performing TS encoding to file data; a PSI/SI generation part 14 for periodically generating an LIT(Local event Information Table); FIFO memories 17 and 18 for storing the file data subjected to TS encoding; a memory 19 for carousel data for storing the generated LIT; and a TS packet multiplexing part 20 for successively reading and multiplexing the data respectively stored in the FIFO memories in a repeated manner, and for reading and multiplexing the LIT stored in the memory for carousel data in a predetermined cycle, and for transmitting a multiplexed stream. The PSI/SI generation part is controlled to, when a change instruction is issued about the LIT being currently transmitted, generate the LIT after change in accordance with the content of the change instruction. |
