The present invention provides a gel composition for skin that can easily gel even in an environment in which an electrolyte and ethanol are present, that exhibits an excellent effect in terms of the stability of the gel formulation thereof, and that exhibits excellent ease of use. The gel composition for skin is characterized by comprising an electrolyte (A), ethanol (B), a pectin (C) having a degree of methyl esterification (%) that is less than 50%, and a hydroxypropylated galactomannan polysaccharide thickener (D), preferably hydroxypropyl guar gum. |
