PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide gate by which removal of inner water can be surely performed even when a door body cannot be controlled to open.SOLUTION: A tide gate is installed in a river 1, and is controlled to open/close so as to open an aqueduct 3 during an upward motion U of a door body 11 and close the aqueduct 3 during a downward motion D of the door body 11. An upper stage part 11A of the door body 11 is constituted of a flap gate 12, and the flap gate 12 is supported above a lower stage part so that it can swing freely between a standing and fully closed position C where it is raised in a river direction and a falling and fully opened position O where it falls in a sea side direction. By means of a counterweight 18, the flap gate 12 is held normally at the standing and fully closed position C and is balanced so as to swing to a falling and opened position during water pressure acting from the sea side. |
