PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of expanding an operation area while securing redundancy.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine can switch the operating condition of a motor between a first operating condition and a second operating condition during normal time. In the first operating condition, low rotation and high torque can be obtained using all the first and second coil groups 16A and 16B. In the second operating condition, since only the first coil group 16A is used, higher rotation and lower torque can be obtained than the first operating condition. It is possible to drive a motor by using a second drive circuit 42 when an abnormality is detected in a first drive circuit 41 and by using the first drive circuit 41 when an abnormality is detected in the second drive circuit 42. |
