PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce fluctuation in pulse pressure of a hydraulic fluid of a variable displacement vane pump.SOLUTION: A chamber 45 (expansion chamber) is disposed on the way of a second discharge passage 30 (discharge passage). A metering orifice 37 (throttle portion) is disposed at an upstream side of the chamber 45. Thus a hydraulic fluid accompanied with fluctuation in pulse pressure is reduced in a width of the fluctuation by a pressure reducing action of the metering orifice 37. Then the hydraulic fluid is introduced into the chamber 45 so that the flows collide against each other and interfere with each other to cancel the fluctuation in pulse pressure. Thus the fluctuation in the pressure pulse of the hydraulic fluid can be effectively reduced. |
