[Problem]: To provide a vibration producing device in which damper deformation can be inhibited even when a large external force is applied from, for example, falling or the like, as well as an electronic device that uses this vibration producing device. [Solution] This vibration producing device comprises a casing (2), a magnetic circuit (3), a coil (9), and a damper (10); the casing (2) comprises a coil support part (2A), a cylindrical part (2B), and a bottom part (2C); the magnetic circuit (3) is supported on the casing (2) via the damper (10); and the bottom part (2C) of the casing (2) is provided with a protruding part (11) that is disposed between the magnetic circuit (3) and the cylindrical part (2B) of the casing (2) and that protrudes from the bottom part of the casing. |
