A pneumatically or hydraulically powered tool comprising a motor having a rotor (405, fig.4b) that rotates in either of first and second rotational directions; first 110 and second 115 buttons opposingly disposed on respective first and second sides 10 of the tool and operatively coupled to a base 120 disposed in the tool; and a valve 125 rotatably coupled to the base, wherein axial movement of either of the first and second buttons causes the valve 125 to rotate, which causes the rotor (405, fig.4b) to respectively rotate in the first and second rotational directions. Wherein the valve 125 includes a slot (175, fig.2a) and the base includes a pin (185, fig.2b) and wherein the valve 125 is rotatably coupled to the slot at the pin. The base also includes first and second openings (165 & 170, fig.2a), and the first and second buttons include respective first and second button arms (135 & 140, fig.2a) that respectively extend through the first and second openings. |
