PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image embedding method capable of visualizing hidden information when a latent image embedded image, in which a latent image is hidden so that sensing with a human eye is discouraged, is applied with image processing.SOLUTION: In latent image embedding processing, in order that a latent image is intentionally appeared/disappeared from an inputted latent image message by reacting with specific image processing, weighting calculation is performed for each coordinate position, to generate a latent image pattern. Especially, in weighting, a reference point on an original image corresponding to a certain pixel of a reduced image is interested, and weighting based on a distance from it to its peripheral pixel is performed repeatedly on the respective peripheral pixels, to calculate an addition sum of weighting, thus a latent image potential is obtained. A latent image is easy to appear at a place where the latent image potential is high. At the time of latent image appearance, in order to constitute a latent image message in a human eye, a form of the latent image message is represented based on the latent image potential, for calculating a latent image pattern. |
