System and method for the distributed control and management of a microgrid. The system comprises a plurality of intelligent devices (1, 1') in communication through a network (8) with a data model unit (2) for storing global parameters of the microgrid, an input profile generator module (4) and an exchange manager module (6). When a global parameter is updated in a data model unit (2), it is replicated in every data model unit (2). A first set of intelligent devices (1) is associated and in communication with different power devices (3) of the microgrid, the data model units (2) collecting data monitored by the power device (3) and the input profile generator module (4) iteratively calculating an available range of power that the power device (3) can produce or consume. The exchange manager module (6) iteratively calculates power exchanges between different power devices (3) of the microgrid considering the available ranges of power of the power devices (3) and at least one input parameter. |
