The baking oven has a baking oven muffle (8) forming a treatment chamber and closed by an oven door (7). A part of the oven front (11) is contactless with an air space (21) arranged opposite to a backing oven flange (19). The part of the oven front is connected with the backing oven flange on selective fixing positions.
