PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool driving device capable of enhancing a degree of freedom of a moldable product shape, while avoiding an enlargement of a forming machine.SOLUTION: A tool driving device of the present invention comprises a pair of tool driving mechanisms 100 assembled in a forming machine 10 for molding a wire rod 90 supplied to a molding area R1 and oppositely arranged by sandwiching the molding area R1 in-between and a pair of cutting tools 170 held by the pair of tool driving mechanisms 100 and opposed by sandwiching the molding area R1 in-between, and cuts the wire rod 90 by cooperation of the pair of these cutting tools 170. The respective tool driving mechanisms 100 are provided with an advance-retreat driving part for linearly moving the cutting tools 170 in the advance-retreat direction Z1 for approaching and separating to the molding area R1, an oscillation driving part for linearly moving the cutting tools 170 in the oscillation direction Z2 orthogonal to the advance-retreat direction Z1 and a tool rotational driving part for rotating the cutting tools 170 around a tool rotary shaft J3 parallel to the advance-retreat direction Z1. |
