PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cup which can keep barrier properties including water shielding properties of a coating material on the end face of a paper base material as well as on the front surface thereof, and which can be subjected to retort treatment using hot water.SOLUTION: The paper cup has a body stuck part formed by superposing one side edge of a blank composed of a laminated sheet obtained by arranging a thermoplastic resin layer on both of the inside surface and the outside surface of the paper base material, on the other side edge thereof. A water-resistant barrier paper cup is characterized in that the thermoplastic resin layer arranged at least on the inside surface, is layered on the paper base material while interposing polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate therebetween by an extrusion lamination method. |
