PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of diagnosing a furnace wall of a coke oven and a method of repairing a furnace wall of a coke oven capable of simply and accurately measuring a deformation state (unevenness of the wall surfaces and changes in furnace width) of the furnace walls of a carbonization chamber in an aged coke oven from outside the carbonization chamber, without placing a measurement device within the carbonization chamber.SOLUTION: A procedure is performed separately on left and right wall surfaces 13a and 13b of a coke oven chamber 10, the procedure in which: a laser-type three-dimensional shape measuring device 20 is placed outside the coke oven chamber 10; a laser 21 is irradiated by the laser-type three-dimensional shape measuring device 20 at an angle from a furnace opening 11 in a state in which a cover 12 is removed; and the shape of the furnace wall (wall surface) 13 is measured as a point group. After the procedure, the shapes of the separately measured left and right wall surfaces are combined based on a reference object 22 in the periphery of the coke oven chamber 10, and integrated into a single piece of shape data (point group), thereby forming a left-right combined furnace wall shape. The distance (furnace width) between the left and right wall surfaces is measured from the left-right combined furnace wall shape, thereby diagnosing the furnace wall shape (unevenness of the wall surfaces and changes in furnace width). |
