The present invention relates to a handcuff apparatus for preventing a criminals escape. The handcuff apparatus of the present invention has a locking structure that includes a first unit and a coupling unit inside an accommodation unit thereof, wherein the first unit includes a first protrusion unit and a coupling unit includes a second protrusion, wherein the first unit is inserted into the inside of the housing unit and the first protrusion unit of the first unit is coupled to the coupling unit of the second protrusion. More particularly, the apparatus comprises: a sensor unit which senses insertion of a key releasing the lock state of the first unit and the coupling unit and outputs a sensing signal; a control unit which receives the sensing signal from the sensor unit, determines whether the key is a normal key, and generates a control signal allowing a warning sound to be outputted when the key is determined to be an abnormal key; and a warning sound generation unit which outputs a warning sound in accordance with the control signal received from the control unit. According to the invention, the warning sound is generated when a criminal tries to remove a handcuff by using other tools but a designated key, thereby preventing a criminals escape. |
