PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pipe coupling of which workability is improved as a pipe coupling for well-steel pipes and the like.SOLUTION: A pipe coupling comprises: flange fixing bands 5, 5 fixed to a part of outer peripheral surfaces of connecting ends 4, 4 of each of two pipes 3, 3 connected to each other; and a pair of plate-like flanges 6, 6 extending in parallel with a pipe axis and fixed to outsides of the flange fixing bands at two locations of pipe opposing in a diametral direction of the pipe, one or several connection holes 7, 7 for use in inserting the fastening members for both flanges are opened, the flange fixing bands are fixed to the pipes under a state in which the outside portions in a pipe axis direction is protruded only by a prescribed distance from the end edges of the pipes. The inner end edge in the pipe axis direction of one flange in one side of one of a pair of flanges in one of the two pipes has a plate-like hook claw 8 extending in the diametral direction of the pipe fixed thereto. The outer end edge in the pipe axis direction of the flange opposite to one of a pair of flanges in the other pipe has a plate-like hook claw 8 extending in the diametral direction of the pipe fixed thereto. |
