PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store authentication information for mutual authentication in a manner which reduces a risk of leakage of the authentication information as much as possible.SOLUTION: In a chip production stage, an SID (Specific ID) of a CU (Card Unit) communication control unit is stored in a ROM of a CU communication control unit 80 as authentication information for mutual authentication. In CU production, an SID of a main control unit 323 is stored in the CU communication control unit 80. The SID of the CU communication control unit is downloaded from a key management server 800 as the authentication information and stored in the main control unit 323. |
