The present invention relates to a space extension-type 5-axis parallel machining system, where a 5-axis parallel kinematic machine (PKM) moves vertically, horizontally, or back and forth and a gantry unit extends the work space by including one driving axis or two or more driving axes, comprising: a PKM to perform three-dimensional processing in accordance with a first control signal; a gantry unit with the PKM installed inside to move the PKM vertically in accordance with a second control signal; a rail unit connected to the bottom of the gantry unit to move the gantry unit horizontally in accordance with a third control signal; and a control unit to receive an input of processing information to perform processing of an article to be processed, to generate the first control signal, to transmit the first control signal to the PKM, to generate the second control signal, to transmit the second control signal to the gantry unit, to generate the third control signal, and to transmit the third control signal to the rail unit. |
