PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing having the long service life, by surely lubricating a sliding contact part between a pocket of a cage and a ball, by enhancing retentivity of grease inside of the pocket, and a motor and a main shaft device using the same.SOLUTION: This angular ball bearing includes an outer race, an inner race, a plurality of balls 13 arranged between the outer race and the inner race, and the cage 14 having a plurality of pockets 15 for respectively holding the plurality of balls 13. The pocket 15 of the cage 14 has an inner surface 15a formed of a cylindrical surface, and a recessed part groove 24 is formed in a noncontact area 18 of not contacting the ball 13 on the outside in the radial direction with a contact area 17, on the inner surface 15a formed of the cylindrical surface. |
