PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time recorder which can easily correct the time by receiving radio waves, regardless of its installation location, and which achieves reduction in its size while using less power efficiently.SOLUTION: A time recorder has calendar information and time information, and is arranged so that an external unit for correcting a time by receiving a standard radio wave can be installed to or removed from a time recorder main body. The external unit is removed so that the external unit can search a favorable environment for receiving radio waves and receive the standard radio wave. Using standard time information obtained, a time correction processing unit 210E corrects time information that an external clock unit 210A obtains by clocking a time. Then, the external unit is installed to the time recorder main unit, and setting information of an operation mode that is set to the time recorder main body, and the calendar information and the time information that are obtained by main body clock means are obtained. Based on the setting information of the operation mode, the calendar information, and the time information all obtained, the operation mode is set. Further, the time information corrected by the external clock unit 210A is transmitted to the time recorder main unit, and the time information is corrected. |
