The housing (10) has metallic parts connected to one another by a laser welding process or a heat guidance welding process, where the housing is made of stainless steel. A pipe union (22) is arranged at a lower side of the housing and comprises a screw thread for fastening of an optoelectronic sensor and for passing supply conduits or measuring conduits. A cladding wall (14) is made of the stainless steel, where the pipe union and a side wall are connected to the cladding wall. A seam is formed between the cladding wall and the side wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a metallic sensor housing. |
