摘要 The invention refers to an implantable stimulation device comprising stimulation means and data communication means. The stimulation means comprise or are connected or can be connected to at least two electrodes that are configured to allow delivery of stimulation pulses. The stimulation means further comprise a voltage source that is connected to the electrodes via at least one stimulation-pulse-switch that controls delivery of a pacing pulse. The stimulation means further comprise a DC-blocking capacitor that is connected in series with the voltage source and one of the electrodes. The stimulation means further comprise an autoshort switch that is arranged and configured to allow discharging the DC-blocking capacitor via the electrodes when the autoshort switch is closed. The data communication means comprise data transmission control means that are connected to the autoshort switch (S dis ) and/or the stimulation-pulse-switches (S pace ; S1, S2, S4, S4) and that are configured to alternatingly open and close the autoshort switch (S dis ) or the stimulation-pulse-switches (S pace ; S1, S2, S4, S4), respectively, during an autoshort period following the delivery of a stimulation pulse or during a stimulation pulse period, respectively, to modulate an autoshort pulse or a stimulation pulse peak amplitude, respectively.
