An image generation apparatus comprises the components as follows: a frame, which has a front side, a back side and two side surfaces; an image generation unit which is arranged on the frame towards one side surface, wherein an image is formed on an image holding body and is transferred to a recording medium; a fuser unit, which is arranged over the image generation unit, wherein the image transferred to the recording medium is set on the recording medium; a discharge unit, which sucks air from an intake port opening towards a side surface and the fuser unit or the image generation unit and discharges the air from the back side; and a seperation part, which is extended from intake port to the space clamped by the fuser unit and the image generation unit. The space is separated to an upper portion and a lower portion vertically, in the gap clamped by the fuser unit and the image generation unit, the space near the front side is smaller than the space close to the back side. |
