PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a numerical control device capable of easily performing processing of a desirable shape without having trouble to change a processing program or considering which of diameter designation and radius designation is used to create the program.SOLUTION: A numerical control device comprises: a tool designation information storage unit 11 for storing tool designation information representing which of diameter designation and radius designation is used for a value corresponding to a linear axis designated by a command input, to a tool included in a machine tool; an effective designation information determination unit 14 for reading the tool designation information corresponding to the tool selected by a tool selection command from the tool designation information storage unit 11 to output it as effective designation information when the tool selection command is input; a move command conversion unit 15 for outputting a post conversion move command converted from a move command according to the effective designation information when the move command is input; and a movement amount generation unit 16 for generating a movement amount for each control cycle from the post conversion move command to output it to a servo amplifier 20. |
