The invention is related to drilling equipment. For attainment of the technical result, namely, the creation of an innovational screw downhole motor with a higher efficiency factor and longer operating life and providing better drilling parameters, in a screw downhole motor comprising a stator (1) with a screw inner surface, a rotor (2) with a screw outer surface and arranged inside the stator (1), a sealing system and a spindle assembly, in accordance with the invention, the sealing system includes a resilient, contact, multi-layer sealing means (4) connected rigidly either with the stator (1) or with the rotor (2). Resilient tapes (5) that form the layers in the sealing means (4) as closed rings, their shape corresponding to the shape of the surface to which they are attached; the number of layers in the sealing means (4) is six maximum; gas (18) and/or liquid (19) are used separately as sealing media in the layers. Further, the sealing system has an assembly (3) for separation of drilling fluid flows (17), a power generating turbine (12), control assemblies (14) for adjusting the sealing medium and drilling fluid movement direction, a drilling fluid mixer (15), a drilling fluid pumping unit (13), an automatic control system (16), and, in accordance with the sealing media used, a stabiliser reservoir (6) with gas, a compressor (7), a heat exchanger (10) for cooling the gas and/or a stabiliser reservoir (8) with liquid, a pump (9), a heat exchanger (11) for liquid cooling. |
