Disclosed is a photovoltaic power generation system wherein the amount of data to be transmitted to an upper server by a data collection device is minimized. A data collection device for a photovoltaic power generation system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a reception part for receiving the amount of power generated by absorbing solar energy and converting the same into electrical energy, and additional information on photovoltaic power generation from a photovoltaic power generation device; a control part for determining an estimated amount of power generation based on the additional information on photovoltaic power generation received from the reception part, and determining a specific value based on the estimated amount of power generation and a received actual amount of power generation; a storage part for storing photovoltaic power generation data including the amount of power generation and the additional information on photovoltaic power generation; and a transmission part for transmitting the specific value determined by the control part and the additional information on photovoltaic power generation to an external device. |
