PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system and an information distribution method which can quickly acquire information according to a user's location even when the user moves.SOLUTION: An information distribution system comprises: a plurality of first base station devices; a second base station device; an information terminal which is communicatively interconnected with the second base station device; and a server device which is communicatively interconnected with the information terminal. Each of the first base station device 1 comprises a communication unit 11 which transmits a control signal including identification information 100 of its own device. The server device 4 comprises: a storage unit 40 which stores a plurality of pieces of distribution information 62 corresponding to the respective first base station devices 1; and a communication unit 41 which transmits to the information terminal 3 the distribution information 62 according to predetermined information received from the information terminal. The information terminal 3 comprises: a communication unit 31 which transmits the predetermined information to the server 4, and receives the distribution information 62 from the server device 4; and a communication unit 32 which notifies the user of the received distribution information. |
