PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate focus adjustment in a phase difference system.SOLUTION: A camera body includes a camera microcomputer 210 in which if a defocus amount calculated in a phase difference system falls outside a focus allowable width, a focus lens 204 of an interchangeable lens 200 is driven to perform AF, and if a defocus amount falls within a focus allowable width, AF driving is finished. The camera microcomputer uses δ=10 μm to set a focus allowable width if a new interchangeable lens is attached and uses δ=35 μm to set a focus allowable width if an old interchangeable lens is attached. |
