PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake operation mechanism for a movable table capable of being intuitively and surely operated with a very simple configuration.SOLUTION: A table comprises: a brake mechanism configured so as to make a leg unit 1 on which a support post 2 for supporting a top plate 3 is erected perform brake action by using a caster 4 and energy of a spring, and make a control cable 6 release the brake action; and an operation handle 19 which is used for operating the control cable and is supported so as to be capable of rotating in the horizontal direction in a casing 16 provided under an end part of the top plate 3, where a stopper 25 is retractably provided in a rotation locus of the operation handle in the vicinity of a stroke end in a direction of the operation handle's rotation for releasing the brake action by drawing an inner cable of the control cable in order that the stopper 25 inhibits the operation handle from rotating in the direction of the other stroke end. |
