PURPOSE:To execute an electrolytic in-processing grinding work while an electrode covering a grinding wheel work face without hindering the rocking motion of the work to be ground under grinding. CONSTITUTION:A work 4 to be ground is held so as to execute a rocking motion S with its contact with the upper face of a grinding wheel 1. A gap L exists on the work face 1a of the grindwheel 1 and an electrode 9 is fitted to a base 11 so as to be able to move in an arrow mark X direction via a holding means 10. The electrode 9 is electrically connected to the cathode of a power source device 12 and the grinding wheel 1 to the anode of the power source device 12 via a brush 13 respectively.
