PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a size of a projection type LP steel sheet which hardly causes out-of-tolerance without requiring much labor and time.SOLUTION: An information processor calculates average values &Dgr;Lautop, &Dgr;Laubot of a distance between the plate thickness of a rolling object material in plate length directions of a top taper part and a bottom taper part and a tolerance upper limit value of a projection type LP steel sheet with regard to size-taking positions of a plurality of projection type LP steel sheets and determines size-taking positions where the average values &Dgr;Lautop, &Dgr;Laubot become almost equal out of the size-taking positions of a plurality of projection type LP steel sheets as size-taking positions where projection type LP steel sheets are cut out of the rolling object material. This process enables a size of a projection type LP steel sheet which hardly causes out-of-tolerance to be taken without requiring much labor and time. |
