PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that can be easily operated by utilizing inclusion of a plurality of operation modes.SOLUTION: An operation plate on which an operation surface is formed is mounted on an input device. A contact position with which a finger is in contact on the operation surface is detected and outputted as a first input signal, and a position of the operation plate is detected and outputted as a second input signal. Thus, an operation mode in which the finger is in contact with the operation surface (including an operation mode in which the finger is slid on the operation surface) and an operation mode in which the operation plate is moved are achieved. In these operation modes, switching can be easily performed only by changing the degree of force exerted by the finger, and equal operation easiness is achieved. Therefore, by utilizing fully inclusion of two operation modes, an input device that can be easily operated can be achieved. |
