PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed controller capable of suppressing concentrated wear of a paper feed port and a carrying path corresponding to a specific paper feed tray without letting a user specify the paper feed tray, and to provide an image forming device, and a paper feed control method.SOLUTION: A paper feed controller includes: a determination section 210 which determines whether or not a page included in an image forming job includes an image; and a selection section 210 which selects the first paper feed trays 251-256 as supply sources for recording media to be used for the page when the determination section 210 determines that the page includes an image, or selects the second paper feed trays 271-273 different from the first paper feed trays 251-256 as supply sources when the determination section 210 determines that the page includes no image. |
