The tool has a cutter (4') attached at a base body (3), and a chip space (5) formed with respect to rotation direction before the cutter. The body comprises an outer contour (6) aside the chip space. A continuous air duct (9) is formed at the body. The duct with a chip space opening ends in the space. The duct with a contour opening (15) is led out from the outer contour of the body, where the contour opening lies opposite to the space opening. The duct is formed as a flushing canal, and the contour opening lies before the chip space opening with respect to the rotation direction.
