摘要 The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for multi-dimensionally clustering customers using topic analysis which analyze internet use patterns of customers to divide the customers into groups having homogeneous properties using a customer subdivision methodology based on text mining which is an unstructured data analysis technique to easily acquire customer needs to establish a marketing strategy of a company. The apparatus for multi-dimensionally clustering customers using topic analysis comprises: a demography information-based customer clustering unit to group customers based on demography information; a news access record-based customer clustering unit to analyze news article access records of the customers to group the customers based on news topics in which the customers are interested; a portal site search keyword-based customer clustering unit to document search keywords entered by the customers to cluster the customers based on topics in which the customers are directly interested; and a multi-dimensional customer clustering unit to group the customers by multi-dimensionally clustering the customers using a customer clustering method using the demography information, and the news access records and the search keywords of the customers.
