A chair control arrangement for a chair (2) movable on castors (8). It comprises locking means (1) for locking translational movement of the chair on its castors (8) and control means (9) for controlling the locking means (1) by electric motors (9) operated by a wired and/or remote hand set and situated in a position useable by the user of the chair when sitting therein. The locking means (1) may comprise a plurality of spring biased feet (18), lowerable into and out of engagement with the floor on which the chair is standing. |
