PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove impurities, such as silver skins, adhering to the surface of a coffee raw bean by a grinder, by efficiently and surely adding moisture to the surface of a coffee raw bean before grinding.SOLUTION: Two spray nozzles 5 and 7 are installed in middle of transportation means 2 formed of a cylindrical body having an inclined transportation passage 3 extending downward to a grinder disposed on the downstream side, as moisture adding means for adding water to the surfaces of coffee raw beans c sliding down on the transportation passage 3 by gravity fall. Posture changing means 6 (6A) comprising a projecting member for changing the posture of the sliding-down coffee raw bean is further installed on the transportation passage 3 between the upstream side first spray nozzle 5 and the downstream side second spray nozzle 7. |
