A dental glass ionomer cement composition contains a photopolymerization catalyst, and contains no polymerizable monomers. The dental glass ionomer cement composition is a conventional dental glass ionomer cement that contains no polymerizable monomers, and by containing the photopolymerization catalyst, has no restriction on the L* value represented in the L*a*b* colorimetric system under the standard illuminant D65, to obtain the shortening effect of the initial setting time, for example, for a color having a high reflectance whose L* value is over 60. |
