PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit erroneous start suppression control in a scene where a problem occurs by the erroneous start suppression control.SOLUTION: An erroneous start suppression device suppresses acceleration or start of a vehicle 1 if an obstacle is detected within a predetermined distance ahead of the vehicle 1 by detection means 21 when the vehicle 1 is stopped or travels at a predetermined speed or less. The device includes travel road prediction means for predicting a travel road r1 of the vehicle 1 on the basis of a steering angle. Only in a case where the obstacle detected by the detection means 21 exists in the predicted travel road r1, the obstacle i is regarded as an obstacle for erroneous start suppression control, whereas if an obstacle detected by the detection means 21 exists outside of the travel road r1, the obstacle iii is not regarded as an obstacle for the erroneous start suppression control. |
